A dog in poor condition
The poor dog had a deep wound in his leg and his head was swollen. It was obvious that this puppy had given up all hope of living. The dog probably got into the box when it was -6 degrees to warm up .
Without further hesitation, Leslie Ysuhuaylas grabbed the dog to put him in his car and take him to the nearest vet. It was there that she noticed that the poor dog’s wound was much deeper than she thought: it hit the bone .
While treating the injured dog they named Benny, Leslie spotted another dog who kept staring at her. It was a chocolate-colored Labrador . Leslie then decided to take care of this second doggie named Betty. She then called for help from the Rescue Dogs Rock NYC association . They agreed to take over Benny and Betty.
