A bitch in a sorry state
The dog was accidentally found in a forest in Poland by a volunteer from the Criminal Animal Foundation. The animal was very emaciated, neglected and mutilated. She was immediately taken to the vet who did not only notice that she was way too thin with her 15 kilos.
But that was far from all. Upon examining the dog, the vet discovered that she had suffered a lot of abuse: her spine was damaged, and she had signs of ulceration.
Stella’s condition indicates that all injuries must have occurred well before the day she was found. This means that her human waited until she was almost dying to finally abandon her in the wilderness.
For the moment, Stella is still at the vet where she will have to be operated. But before that, she must already gain weight. But one thing is certain, the end of the nightmare is near for the dog.
