In Miami, the bereaved mistress received a call from an unlikely animal shelter in Texas … but which made her happy.
Last month, as Debra Vasquez’s mother mourned the loss of her beloved dog who died of cancer days earlier, her family received a call that left them speechless as reported by CBS 4 Miami . And for good reason, the Humane Society of Broward County, Texas, called their daughter, Debra, to tell her that a dog had just landed at the shelter that day abandoned by a woman. The dog in question? A Chihuahua cross named King.

However, six years earlier, King had been robbed from Debra’s backyard in Miami, Florida. A great distance separate Miami from Texas, but thanks to King’s chip, the refuge was able to find its former owners as you can see in the video report below:
