An extraordinary birth
The veterinary clinic where the little dog was born in Oklahoma City said it was the first dog born and alive with 6 legs.
Skipper has a congenital disorder called “monocephalus dipygus and monocephalus rachipagus dibrachius tetrapus”, a complicated name to indicate that the little bitch has one head and one breast, but two pelvic regions, two uterine holes, two reproductive systems, two tails and six legs. Just that !
The little DOG even starts to walk
Skipper’s family have reported that the little dog is doing very well at home and that her learning to dog life is going well.
She starts to want to walk and she does the front crawl with her little paws. For the moment, its paws on the side take over while the paws inside are not mobilized.
Her family has formed a fundraiser to pay for the medical bills that the little dog will need in the future.
