A gentle rescue
When Lisa and Joann arrived on site to rescue Edna, they proceeded very gently and delicately so as not to frighten Edna. Thanks to food, they managed to approach her to get her to safety.
Once in the transport cage, Edna was taken to the vet to check on her condition. On site, the veterinarian discovers that the bitch is identified and that the number of her owners is still valid!
A cruel decision
Immediately, Lisa and Joann contact Edna’s owners to tell them that the bitch is with them. But at the end of the line, the owners explain that Edna is dead and that they have mourned and do not wish to take her back even though she is actually alive. They then ask Lisa and Joann to find him another house.
A little stunned, the two volunteers do not give up and decide to contact the Doggies 911 Rescue association which quickly finds a new home for poor Edna. A house where she is now happy in the company of another puppy.
Fortunately, all ends well for the beautiful Edna despite a course strewn with pitfalls. Below you can relive the rescue of the beautiful Edna on video.
