Gregory and Nicolas lost their cat Simba following their move two years ago.

While they were in the process of moving, Simba fled as Gregory opened the door. His masters then did everything to find him: they put up posters, posted announcements in Facebook groups and toured the shelters, to no avail …

They always kept hope

Years passed, but the owners of Simba continued to keep tabs on social media anyway. And they did well, because on Tuesday March 2, the couple finally noticed the announcement of the Watten Cats of Hope association. The Facebook post stated: “Male found in Wormhout whom we had spayed, vaccinated and identified”.

According to the association, the poor tomcat had been wandering for two years and was fed by neighbors. He was brought back by a resident to the association.

The couple urgently contacted the association

For them, no doubt, it was indeed their Simba in the photos. They went to look for him at the refuge and it was with great emotion that they were able to leave with their cat.

The couple are delighted to finally have their little family reunited with Simba’s cat sister and their doggie.

To show their gratitude, the couple launched a fund for the association to help animals in need.
