A frankly unexpected reaction from this couple who had just adopted this dog and did not intend to give her a chance in the end …

As the founder of South Lyon Murphy Animal Recovery, Heather Ineich recently had security cameras moved so that she could find two stray dogs that needed her help.

But after 8 days of surveillance, she unfortunately did not manage to find the doggies …

A stroke of luck

It is while going to her work, that Heather notices one of the two dogs wandering in a cemetery. Realizing that the dog could not stay outside, there are many coyotes in this area, Heather set up a trap in order to catch the dog and bring him to safety.

A few hours later, the dog was safe and Heather was able to take her for a vet check-up to check on her condition. Around his neck, a totally frozen red leash was still hanging.

The bitch had patches of hair missing on her back, as if she had undergone treatment for heartworms. And she had been recently sterilized.

But that’s not all ! Luckily, she was also identified by an electronic chip. So she was going to be able to find her family.

The cold shower

All excited, Heather called the owners of the dog and explained that she was now safe and waiting for them. But at the end of the line, it’s disappointment. The person explains to him that he does not want to recover this bitch, however adopted last November.

The woman explained that the dog had run away and tried to call her back, to no avail. On the other hand, she did not put down any poster, did not warn the police or others …

Worse still, the woman quietly explains to Heather that she prefers to look for another dog rather than recover her own …

A new life

Confused, furious and shocked, Heather cuts the discussion short and decides to find a foster family for the dog. Which is quickly done. Now Ginger, her new name, is safe.
