If Bray hadn’t been found when she was, she wouldn’t have survived very long. Fortunately, Bray was lying in a ditch where there was a thin stream of water, which is probably what allowed her to survive.
Rescue workers rushed Bray to the vet, where she received treatment for dehydration. She was exhausted and her claws were very long, which indicated that she had been still for quite a while …
His blood tests revealed that Bray had liver and kidney problems and a fairly low level of red blood cells.
The vets did everything to save his life
Over the days, Bray finally regained his strength. She regained her appetite and finally ate on her own, which allowed her to regain a normal weight.
Vets didn’t think Bray would ever be able to walk again on her own, but the brave dog has made spectacular progress.
Today, she walks on her own and greatly appreciates the sweetness of her second life!
