A bitch with a very severe mange
Kristi was shocked when she first saw Paige. Paige, a young Pitbull was found out in the cold with only a few tufts of hair on her back. The bitch seemed abandoned by her owner.
Without the slightest hesitation, Kristi decided to get the dog back to give her a warm place to rest. After a visit to the vet, the young woman discovered that the bitch was suffering from a mange which caused her to lose almost all of her hair.
In an interview with The Dodo, Kristi confided that the vet had never seen such a significant scab.
With proper treatment, Paige was able to recover from her illness.
