It was in a store on a street in Brooklyn that the scene took place. The man tied Trap, his Pitbull in front of the shop and went inside to announce that someone had abandoned his dog.
He was even seen sending a photo of the trapped dog as if he wanted to let someone know he had pulled it off. At first, Trap didn’t seem to have realized that he had just been abandoned by his master. Worse, seeing his tail wagging and his affectionate look towards him, he seemed to love him and trust him. Not seeing him come back, he started looking around for him, barking and tearing on his leash … but it was finally the owner of the store who came to his rescue.
Give it up rather than cure it
He was then placed in a shelter and began to be very anxious. In addition, it turned out that Trap suffered from severe muscle atrophy and hip dysplasia. His state of health made him look like an old dog, and the Pitbull is only 4 years old. The shelter also noticed that Trap had already been placed in a shelter barely a year before, but his master had finally returned to pick him up. And then, Trap’s medical problems worsened: he suffered from neurological disorders and because of his master’s neglect, his teeth had become infected putting him at risk of sepsis. What did his master do then? Rather than give her the necessary care, he chose to abandon her.
