Once there, the owners agree to pick up the young Labrador, about a year old, but refuse to take back Cookie , who is 9 years old and whose medical care is far too expensive. They therefore decide to leave without her, leaving him alone. Seeing her owners and her Labrador friend walk away, Cookie started to cry.
Left to her own devices and abandoned, Cookie then curls up on herself and waits for someone to come and pick her up to give her a second chance in life and a new start. Having had multiple operations to treat various tumors, Cookie was then placed with a foster family where she will spend the rest of her life surrounded by love and joy .
