Logan had always wanted a dog, but his father was allergic, so unfortunately that was not possible. Before his death, Joe and his wife Melanie had planned to offer a dog in Logan after his death. With Jon’s help, the Boston Terrier was adopted for the little boy without his knowing it. On his thirteenth birthday, just five days after his father died, Logan learned they were going to pick up a puppy. The boy had no idea the animal would be for him . He set out with his mother and cousin to pick up a puppy he thought was for his cousin Jon. After picking up the puppy, they pulled into a gas station, where this video was filmed.
The young boy burst into tears
They told Jon they wanted to take a picture of him and the dog. As soon as Logan held the puppy, Jon told him the truth. When he realized what was happening to him, Logan burst into tears . You can see the emotion in the boy when he learns that the animal is a birthday present from his father, who “wanted him to have a puppy”. It seems like love at first sight, both for Logan and for the puppy (later called Indy.) The dog will always be a reminder of the love Logan’s father felt for him.
