There are few things more heartwarming than coming home after a hard day, turning on the TV, and curling up with your dog. But that just wasn’t possible for the former owners of little Thomas, a West Highland White Terrier .
Thomas seemed so bothered by the noise of the television that his former owners simply opted for a drastic solution: abandon him.
A dog who hates television
Thomas (6 years old) then landed at the “Dogs Trust Loughborough” where all the employees do their best to make him pass his phobia of televisions. Indeed, this phobia could pose a problem for each of his future adopters.
To do this, experts first gave him a carpet full of tasty treats and placed a muted iPhone showing TV channels next to him. Thomas accepted it!
Then they switched to a phone with sound and an iPad, all while little Thomas happily munched on his treats.
It now remains to make Thomas accept television screens, who still has things to learn but is progressing quickly.
