It’s a very sad story. Foxy, a little dog barely 5 months old, has only known the few square meters of her master’s balcony since her adoption. Moreover, the latter had not even deigned to give it a name, it was Action Protection Animale which, after having saved it from the mistreatment of its master, baptized it Foxy. The association also noticed that the dog had never been to the vet. And even worse, then, put the nose elsewhere than on its small balcony.
“Action Protection Animale received a report from a neighbor who, as the days went by, noticed that Foxy was living night and day, in all weathers, all the time, on the balcony” explains Nicole Quichot, activist, to Volunteer in Animal Protection and Humanitarian Aid, in a long message on Facebook.
And as if her situation weren’t bad enough already, Nicole says that one day, Foxy found herself strapped to a leash on the balcony, which further reduced her living space, thus boiling down to less than one. master. Obviously, her master didn’t bother to clean up her excrement and urine either, and the dog was fed only occasionally.
Snow, a good time for some, a nightmare for Foxy
Action Protection Animale intervened the day after a snowfall in Ile-de-France. “Everyone remembers it, because (especially for animal lovers) it was the occasion for beautiful walks. But in Neuilly-sur-Marne, while the noises of a snowy amusement occupy the sound space in the park of the residence, there is a little forgotten dog up there on the first floor.
She does not moan and tries to survive the negative temperatures “moved the volunteer. A dog full of love
On the day of her rescue, Nicole tells us again, “it’s a little dog who almost strangled herself as she pulled towards us”. Without the slightest hesitation, Foxy then followed them, feeling finally delivered: “she runs, she jumps, she is happy, she calls out for us, she rubs herself, she rolls … It’s incredible,” rejoices the volunteer. It is also thanks to these kinds of moments that the volunteers find the energy to invest so much.
… and a despicable master
As for its owner, far from being embarrassed by the bad treatment inflicted on his dog, “he laughs, he makes fun of the situation which is only a reason for entertainment for him!” relates the volunteer. He also confirmed without a problem that Foxy lived outside, on his balcony, all the time, going so far as to admit that he didn’t know anything about her other than the fact that he bought her in the area.
And that’s the right question: why the hell go buy a pet if it’s to neglect it to such an extent? Let us hope that he will answer for his actions in court since Action Protection Animale has filed a complaint for voluntary abandonment and mistreatment.
