Poor Willys had a very difficult start in life.
Willys is a 4 month old Beagle puppy . He was born as part of puppy trafficking in Eastern Europe. When he was only a few weeks old, he was sold to someone who only mistreated him.
Sold very young on the banks of the Seine
Willys is one of the many puppies that come from puppy mills in Eastern countries, the latter being suppliers to pet shops in European countries. Unfortunately, as long as some people are ready to buy these puppies, the system will continue to run.
After this already difficult start in life, Willys continued to play bad luck: the man who bought him began to beat him.
Fortunately, this man’s neighbors reported Willys’ cries of distress, allowing authorities to intervene at the man’s home.
Willys was found at the back of the building’s courtyard, with an electric collar around his neck and terrified. His “owner” had locked him outside because he was “bothering” him.
The puppy has been entrusted to the good care of the association
The puppy was handed over to Action Protection Animale’s teams, where he was finally able to discover the softness and love of human arms. The association is currently looking for a loving family who will be patient with the adorable doggie.
Willys gets along very well with everyone he meets. The teams hope to find him a family who will have a house with a fenced garden so that he can thrive in safety.
The association specifies that the puppy will however be placed in a foster family while its former owner is tried for his actions.
