A woman with a big heart
For two years, Debby regularly saw the stray dog and gave it something to eat. But the dog never gets close enough for her to see him up close. Whatever, what she wants is to help him.
And then one day the doggie came up to Debby and she saw how bad he was: he had sores all over the place and a serious problem in one eye. In short, he needed help. He also had a steel collar sunk deep into his neck.
Worried about the dog’s health, Debby decides to take him to Indianapolis Animal Care and Control so that he can be groomed and taken care of. There, she fills out various papers and even writes a check.
Then the problems started. Debby received several complaints that she had not treated her dog well, that he did not have the necessary vaccines and that he was not identified.
Surprised, she explains that it is not her dog and that she just wanted to help him. But for the shelter, it’s her dog: she’s been taking care of him for two years, he’s hers. However, she agreed to pay the fine to do what’s best for this pooch.
