A cowardly abandoned dog
Heather Hernandez, founder of the rescue association, therefore decided to take charge of poor Static. And for her, one thing is certain: this dog belonged to a family that decided not to take care of him. When the situation became unmanageable and too serious, this family abandoned the poor doggie, in full sun.
Once safe, Static collapsed into his rescuer’s arms, grateful to finally get help. He was then given water and something to eat, and he took several medicated baths to improve his condition.
Gradually, Static began to behave like a normal dog again, and wagged his tail. A great victory for everyone.
He will remain with the association until he is fully back on his feet and ready to find his new family for life.
But at the Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society, we’ll never forget that.
