It was in Florida that a 77-year-old man decided to lock his elderly dog in the trunk of his SUV. The rest is cold in the back …
A few days ago, a 77-year-old man was arrested in Florida for locking his Husky dog in the trunk of his vehicle, an SUV, for no less than 13 hours.
Too loud a dog
It is because his dog is too noisy because of severe pain in the legs and could disturb his neighbors that the man would have made the decision, according to him, to lock his 17-year-old dog in the trunk of the SUV during the whole night.
But according to local authorities, the dog has not always been treated well in the past. He suffers in particular from a tumor in the ear which has not been treated despite requests from the veterinarian in this regard.
Snippy was euthanized
It is thanks to various reports that the local authorities learned that an elderly dog had been locked in the trunk of a vehicle. But once arrived there, the authorities find no trace of the doggie. It is already too late.
Snippy’s master then decided to have him euthanized. He will have to answer for his actions in court for abandonment and cruelty to an animal.
