It was in Englebelmer, during 2019, that the 30 Million Friends Foundation intervened to help a little dog aged 4 months.
A rescue that matters
Thanks to the presence of mind of a neighbor who could no longer bear to witness the dog’s ordeal, the 30 Million Friends Foundation was able to set up a much-needed rescue.
When the volunteers arrived on the scene, they discovered the little dog, soaked to the skin, tied to a rope that had wrapped around her neck and almost smothered her, without any shelter to protect herself.
An absolutely distressing spectacle of infinite sadness.
Taken to the Ponthieu Marquenterre refuge in Buigny-Saint-Maclou for treatment, the dog was lucky enough to quickly find a foster family ready to take care of her and give her all the love she needed.
