But then why was this dog not moving?
It was by looking around a little that the Ringstaff understood the heart-wrenching truth. A little further away was another dog, lying on the ground lifeless, visibly hit by a car. The other pooch just didn’t want to leave him.
Unable to convince the Pyrenean mountain dog to move, the whole family decides to leave the area to return later with help. So they came back 10 hours later to find the dog in exactly the same place. He hadn’t moved an inch.
This time the Ringstaffs were able to hoist the big dog into their truck and take it home. A little later, they discovered that the dog actually belonged to a family that had just moved, leaving the animal behind. The second dog was probably theirs too.
A big decision and a new start
Saddened by the story of the huge dog, the family decided to give him a new start in life and adopt him. Renamed Tucker, the doggie is now very happy in his new family and enjoys every moment.
A well-deserved new start for this dog with a big heart.
