After 10 years without anyone wanting this dog, an unexpected event happens at the shelter

In 2016, the vet diagnosed her with a benign tumor the size of a golf ball. Over the years, the tumor grew to the size of a melon. The shelter decided not to operate on the tumor because of the risk of the surgery given Wiggles’ advanced age.

Luck ended up smiling at him

Families who came to the shelter were reluctant to adopt Wiggles because of his tumor and the food allergies his treatment created.

The shelter looked after Wiggles and provided for her as best as possible: she received a lot of affection, special food for her allergies and she was followed by a veterinarian for 10 years. Until her new family finally shows up!

Now Wiggles lives in Missouri with a family that is ready to make her happy! The shelter manager is delighted with Wiggles’ adoption and is convinced that there is a family for every animal in need.
