Having had epileptic seizures for almost two months, the old dog named Hannah was in great pain. And since these had intensified despite the drugs and one of his kidneys and his joints had become painful, it was even worse … struggling to move without pain, to frolic at will and to climb and descend the stairs, the animal survived more than it lived. His mistress therefore decided to stop trying.
