Buddy is slowly recovering
The animal underwent two skin grafts made from cod skin. Doctors said the dog was making real progress and was on the mend.
Despite the atrocities he has endured, Buddy is adorable and hugs everyone who approaches him.
Volunteers at the Tunica Humane Society shelter closely monitor the dog’s health and regularly post updates on its progress.
Once Buddy is fully healed, he can be put up for adoption by the volunteers at the shelter. He shouldn’t have a hard time finding his new family because he has already received dozens of adoption requests!
